1) Visit the Corogo waterfall
either as you are coming up river to the village or on your way back to the port. If you choose this option be sure and wear your swim suit under your clothes and bring a towel and wear shoes that can get wet as we walk through the stream to arrive at the waterfall. This can be added to the day or overnight tour.

2) Fishing Embera' style.
Which is with a swim mask and a hand made spear. Can be done in the day or at night. Overnight tour only.

Price: $7.00 per group for the Embera' guide and equipment. If you wish to fish in the lake the price is $25.00/group for transportation and guide.
3) Float down the river in inner tubes.
Take a short hike up river from the village and jump in the river with tubes, accompanied by an Embera' teenager. You can choose between a 30 or 60 minute float. Overnight tour only.

4) Pan for Gold with the Embera'.
The Chagres National Park is known for gold as well as supplying water to the canal. After the park was created and imposed agricultural and hunting restrictions on the Embera' and before tourism was introduced, the Embera' survived from the gold they found in the river. Overnight tour only.

5) Harpy Eagle Adventure
The Embera' live in harmony with the jungle around them and it's inhabitants. When they were asked by the Peregrine fund to help them locate Harpy Eagles the Embera' told them about several existing and active Harpy Eagle nests that are within several hours walk from the village. There are 2 ways to do this adventure. a) You can walk from the village direct and return on foot. This is a very long day and takes between 6-8 hours there and back. b) or you can go up part way by dugout canoe and then back part way by boat. This option takes about 3 hours walking and 4 hours in total. Overnight tour only.

6) El Camino Real This is a true adventure with 4 days hiking through the pristine jungle with Embera' guides cutting a trail over the old Spanish gold route. You arrive after spending 3-4 days walking and observing wildlife at Nombre de Dios on the Caribbean coast above Portobelo.
