Canopy Zipline, River Tubing, Jungle Horseback ride &
Emberá Village Tour
We are excited to announce a number of fun new tours. An exhilarating Zipline with 9 cables stretched over the jungle canopy, also an Inner Tube Float down the Rip Piedra, and a Jungle Trot horseback ride, that can all or part be combined with an Emberá Village tour to the small village of Errebache across the Rip Piedra from the Zipline. All of these adventures include time to swim in the Rio Piedra with some fun rope swings &/or explore a number of clearly marked jungle trails.
Canopy Zipline: 1-2 hrs. Your zipline adventure will take you on 9 cables stretched over the jungle canopy. Get a monkey’s viewpoint as you pass over the rainforest treetops and over the Rio Piedra. (Children welcome)
Inner Tube Float: 1 hour. You will be given an inner tube to float leisurely down the Rip Piedra through the tropical rainforest. There are several rope swings available along the river to play on too.
Jungle Trot: 1-1.5 hrs. You will be provided with a well trained horse to take a ride through the jungle where you may catch sight of animal or birdlife along the way. You will cross the Rip Piedra during the ride.
Salto del Tigre Adventure: 7 hrs. You will be given a well trained horse to take a 2 hour ride and a 30-45 minute hike, one way, through the jungle where you will see the incredible diverse flora and fauna of the rainforest. You will arrive at a series of beautiful waterfalls with deep pools to swim and refresh yourself in. A picnic lunch will be provided.

Panama is blessed to have over 30 species of Cetaceans in it's waters, including Humpback whales. Panama is the only place in the world where Humpbacks from both the Southern & Northern hemisphere populations could actually meet as they come here to breed and give birth. Our boat leaves from a marina near Panama City. For El Valle I pick you up at 8:30 am and we drive West on the Pan American highway away from Panama City and we drive for about 1.5 hours and we climb up into the hills and get a great view back of the Pacific before we descend into the crater of the extinct volcano. Inside El Valle there is much to see and depending on your interests we will explore it. There is a nice market place in the center of town for fruits, vegetables and local crafts. There are many beautiful homes and it is fun to drive around and see the landscaping and architecture. There is a fun canopy zipline course there too. There is also a natural hot springs spa and a small local zoo. There are some ancient petroglyphs and many nice restaurants to choose from for lunch.
Price is $75.00-100.00 per person and does not include lunch at the restaurant of your choice or zipline cost.

An early morning walk through the rainforest with an expert guide, Garceth Cunampio, who is an Embera' Indian and grew up observing animals in the jungle. He was also schooled in the US in forestry and has worked as a park ranger. He speaks great English. Both half day and full day tours are available.

Nature Experience by Boat on Gatun Lake in the Panama Canal.
For those who love nature, creatures, scenery on one of the largest man made lakes in the world. You will travel by boat on Gatun Lake, which is actually part of the canal, observing many bird species, monkeys, sloths, crocodiles, etc. The boat ride is 4 1/2 hours.

This is a true 5 day adventure. The first day you arrive in Embera Puru, an Embera community along the banks of the San Juan de Pequini River just a couple hours from Panama City where you will be treated to the full overnight tour experience. From there it's hiking 4 days through the jungle with an Embera guide as well as your personal guide. Your Embera' guide will be swinging his machete clearing a trail along the overgrown old gold route all the way to the Caribbean.
This is an intense hike and is not for the faint or light hearted, but is an incredible adventure into the true jungle along an historic trail.
